Great place for Roxy, our dog! She joined us on the patio for dinner, then we spent the evening on our ground floor patio with grass everywhere, and our vehicle backed in right there as well. We spent the evening playing with Roxy, enjoying a few wobbly-pops and meeting other people from Alberta and their dogs. We shared pig ears for the dogs and pops with the humans. It was a great experience, and everyone made Roxy feel like a rock star. We will be back.
They did they the hot tub and pool open. And have complementary breakfast. Just coffee muffins and stuff like that but better then nothing. Place is pretty quiet even tho its right on the highway. Didnt like the pool shower tho. It didnt have a knob for the handle just some channel locks that almost fell on my foot. This hotel was only $30 more then others with no pool or free breakfast
In my opinion it is the best hotel in Clearwater. Rooms are surprisingly large, with kitchenette, small dining area and computer desks. Bed was comfortable and clean. Hotel has small pool with jacuzzi. Staff was very polite and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this hotel.
For $130/night I did not expect to walk into the room to find a kitchenette & sitting room! It's a little dark but clean. Friends consider me a germaphobe & I am comfortable there. There's a super chlorinated pool. Strange thing.. they demand quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
Great hotel for a quick stay. Room decor was a little dated but very clean. The beds were comfy. Staff was very friendly. Kids had a great time in the pool aswell Continental breakfast was good.
A great price, super large room, kitchenette with a balcony as well. The room was very clean as well. Thanks to the front desk for all she did to get us in and fed!
We enjoyed the hot tub. The pool area might need some paint as it looks a bit.. I don't know. But serves its purpose. Personell was friendly, and the free breakfast really offered enough choices - see attached pictures. One of the better ones we've had on this trip. Not sure if all rooms are alike, but ours was spacious. Two big beds, sofa with table, table and two chairs, desk and a chair, a little kitchen with cutlery/plates and a big flat screen tv. Ironing board and a iron, multiple towels for four people, hairdryer, shampoo conditioner, soap, coffee maker and coffee pads with milk and sugar and some tea. The bed a little too hard for my liking. It's conveniently located. Five minute drive away from a pizza place, and a Belgian guy selling fries at Spahats Falls. Would stay here again :)
My Bf and I just recently stayed at the Clearwater lodge. The front desk guy, Tyler, was absolutely amazing. Tyler was very kind and patient, while keeping in mind it was only his 4th day. Tyler upgraded our room to the honeymoon suite and made sure our pizza delivery came to the right room. Amazing hotel!
As a tired traveller who had driven from Calgary ( during floods ) I walked into this establishment and found the front desk person friendly and helpful. He showed me one of his rooms which I immediately took. The price was reasonable, room comfortable and clean and restaurant food excellent. I would recommend the Clearwater Lodge to other travellers.
Stay here somewhat regularly while traveling for work. Staff are friendly and helpful, and while the rooms are a little dated, they are certainly a good size. The restaurant on site is pretty good with a good beer selection that rotates somewhat.
